It's been a hard month as an author. My sales have been non-existent and I can't do anything with Moon Girl 3 but wait for beta readers which feels like I've been waiting forever... Generally, the lack of movement is getting frustrating and I've spent a while trying to think of what I can do to change that.
Marketing Marketing is hard. I've been wracking my brain trying to think of what I can do to generate more interest in Moon Girl and hopefully improve sales a bit. I can at least say I've been enjoying making my blog a bit more writing focused and am happy I've managed to keep up with one blog post a week. Once again, if there is anything you would want me to blog about feel free to comment and I'll see what I can do. As for marketing I did have a few ideas, one includes my online store. Moon Girl 3: Guillotine Status: Beta Reading Moon 3 is still with beta readers and it's starting to stress me out a bit as I know this probably isn't the last time they are going to have to go through it buuut as my beta readers are friends doing me a favour then I don't really have the right to kick them up the ass too hard. It's hella frustrating but I can but wait.
Moon Girl 4 Status: First Draft Moon Girl 4 is going well at least. The plot is really moving forward and I'm enjoying writing it. I beat the writing target for it pretty early this month.
Other Stories Since my writing target was hit so fast used the time to work on a few other odds and ends. I've had a good few ideas for new stories and it's been fun to take a break for Moon Girl for a while to try to develop them a little bit. I know in other updates I have broken this section out but I've started quite a few bits at this point and until they look hopeful for completion I'm just going to put them under Other Stories.
I plan on putting together my comic con schedule soon. I'll likely be at Chester Comic-Con again this year and am hoping to go to one other but they haven't gotten back to me yet :(
